Through my new writer contacts, I’m learning more and more about the on and off-line publishing industry. Such as, once a story is posted to a blog or any website accessible by the general public, it constitutes publication and the piece is no longer eligible for submission to a traditional publisher or writing contest. Thus, this site is now password protected. This is not a problem since it was only being visited by a few close friends and an even fewer number of relatives. (Only one person has even noticed they can no longer get on, so what does that tell you?)
My posts will now be more diary-ish than blog-ish (although, I think a blog is often like a diary anyway). I’ll just pretend I have a huge audience hanging on my every word. So…no difference really.
